How my journey began

I decided to become a Registered Massage Therapist because of my passion and empathy to help others. When I was a kid, my mother once told me that I have healing hands, so I guess that always stuck with me. I was the sibling that always walked around with cotton balls treating my family for any little nicks or bruises (yea, I was cute). So naturally, healthcare seemed like a good fit for me.

After graduating from an excellent and demanding course at Kikkawa College in 2004, I became registered by the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. Fortunately, I landed my first job right after college at a spa. However, I quickly realized that I was best suited in a clinic setting where I could give my clients my full attention and tailored treatment plans.

Once I made the move to a clinic setting, I met so many likeminded therapists that have enriched my life in so many ways. That environment allowed me to develop treatment plans and treat many different conditions and apply various techniques, modalities and assessment tools that have helped fine tune my treatment skills. While expanding my knowledge in myofasical release and advanced techniques, I have had a lot of successful results from disc herniations to chronic headaches to Achilles tears to carpel tunnel syndrome. I also got a lot stronger, especially my pointy elbows. My clients have a love/hate relationship with my elbows.

No matter what I am treating; chronic pain, injury, pre-natal or relaxation, I will always make sure to address the underlying day to day stresses. My goal is for you to leave my treatment room feeling lighter and clearer than when you came in.

A few little tidbits about myself. Iā€™m always laughing and having fun with my friends and family, who are the most important in my life. Dancing is the best and I still move the furniture around to scratch that itch. My niece and nephews are the best little things in my life and I love getting random texts and FaceTime calls from them.

Thank you for taking the time to read my little bio!
